Research use & compliance

Who are your products intended for?
Our products are reagents intended exclusively for research professionals and institutions, for in vitro use in the laboratory. They are not intended for the general public.
What does "Research Use Only" mean?
"Research Use Only" (RUO) means the product is a reagent intended solely for scientific laboratory research. It is neither a medicine, a supplement, nor a cosmetic product.
Are your products intended for human consumption?
No. All our products are research peptides not intended for human consumption, nor for the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease.
Do you provide dosage or usage advice?
No. We provide only storage and laboratory-handling information. We do not provide any protocol or advice intended for human use.
Who is responsible for regulatory compliance?
By placing an order, the buyer acknowledges taking responsibility for compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to the purchase, handling and use of research materials in their jurisdiction.

Quality, analysis & batches

How are batches verified?
Each batch is analysed by an independent laboratory: HPLC for purity, mass spectrometry for molecular identity. The certificate of analysis (CoA) is included with every order.
Is the certificate of analysis always provided?
Yes, an independent CoA systematically accompanies every order, with the corresponding batch number.
What do HPLC and mass spectrometry verify?
HPLC (liquid chromatography) measures the compound's purity; mass spectrometry confirms its molecular identity (expected mass). Both appear on the CoA.
What purity do your peptides reach?
Our batches target a purity above 99%, verified by independent analysis. The exact batch value appears on its certificate of analysis.
Can I view the certificate of analysis?
Yes. Certificates of analysis are shown on the Analyses page and provided with every order.

Theme 3 · 5 questions

Reconstitution & storage

How should a lyophilised peptide be stored?
The sealed lyophilisate is stored at -20 °C, away from light and moisture, generally for up to 24 months. Refer to the CoA and product sheet for batch-specific details.
How is a peptide reconstituted in the laboratory?
In the lab, a lyophilised peptide is dissolved with a suitable research solvent, such as bacteriostatic water, to prepare a stock solution for analysis. This is provided as laboratory-handling information only.
How long does a reconstituted solution last?
A reconstituted solution is generally kept refrigerated (2-8 °C) for a limited period. Stability depends on the peptide and solvent; keep away from light.
Do you offer bacteriostatic water?
Yes, bacteriostatic water is available in the catalogue as a laboratory consumable.
Do you have a reconstitution calculator?
Yes, a reconstitution calculator is available on the site to prepare study concentrations from a volume and a dosage.
