MOTS-c
Mitochondrial ORF of the 12S rRNA-c · MOTSc
MOTS-c is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded by the mitochondrial genome, belonging to the family of mitochondrial-derived peptides (MDP). It is studied in vitro and in preclinical models for metabolic homeostasis and the AMPK pathway. Reagent intended exclusively for laboratory research — not intended for human consumption.
